Itinerary:

Day 01                        Basco Proper Tour

 

Ø      Arrive at Basco Airport , register as tourist.

Ø      Proceed at the Batanes seaside Lodge and restaurant for check in.

Ø      Freshen at your room, rest stroll at the beach.

Ø      Prepare for the tour. (Change for appropriate attire).

Ø      12:00 – Lunch at Seaside .

Ø      1:00 pm- Start of tour.

Ø      Ride to the North of  Basco at the Department of Agrarian Reform beneficiary Land, overlooking at the Rocky Beach of Chadpidan, facing the Northern Island towards Taipei viewing the pasturelands of the Ivatan Folks.

Ø      View the ridges at the boundaries with similarities of the pasture lands of Holland .

Ø      Proceed to the Light House with breathtaking g view on its surroundings.

Ø      Proceed to the Chanpan Fishing Village in Valugan, facing the Pacific Ocean .

Ø      5:00 pm – Back to the lodge at 7:00 pm.

 

 

Day 02                                            Sabtang Island Tour

(Picnic Lunch at the beach)

                (Wear slippers, shorts, long sleeves, hats and apply sun lotion, may also bring swimsuit).

 

Ø      4:30 am – Wake –up call

Ø      5:00 am – Breakfast

Ø      5:30 – Ride to Ivana port (45 minutes to catch the 6:00 ferry crossing to Sabtang)

Ø      6:00 – 7:00 am – Cross Sabtang in banca.

Ø      Arrive in Sabtang port.

Ø      Ride all day through the 4 towns of Sabtang, which all like they were frozen in time.

Ø      Proceed to Barrio Savidug and Idjang, an old settlement, where local wine making is made and where people take refuge when attack by others clans during the old times.

Ø      View the Bundok Susong Dalaga (Sleeping Beauty) in Sumnanga where the Duvek Bay is found, also locally known as “Little Hongkong”. Where you can see the breathtaking cove and that one would want to stay for fresh air and tranquil beauty.

Ø      See the beautiful place of Chavayan, known for its preservation and protection.

Ø      2:00 pm – Catch without fail the last trip of ferry back to Batan Island .

Ø      Cross the sea to the mainland

Ø      Return trip to the Lodge.

Ø      Freshen up, may rest in your room or view the sunset.

Ø      Dinner at the lodge.

 

Day 03            Tour to the Rest of Batan Main Island

                        (Picnic Lunch- Marlboro Country or Fishing Village )

 

Ø      8:00 am – Breakfast

Ø      9:00 am – start of Tour.

Ø      Ride to Tukon and enjoy 360 degrees view the Basco on the West China Sea and on East Pacific Ocean .

Ø      Pass by the Wind Turbine at Mahatao, also known as the Mahatao Idjang Windmill only found and commercially found in Batanes.

Ø      Visit Diura, a fishing village.

Ø      A ride to Marlboro Country, local version, which breathtaking panoramic view, velvet green grass and tamed farmed animals that could share pictures with you.

Ø      Exit to Imnajbu, pass by Loran Cost Guard station then to the Ghost Town.

Ø      Visit the Saint Joseph the Worker Church of Ivana, which is the Oldest Roman Catholic Church in 1860.

Ø      Visit the old existing Spanish bridge, which was built in 1850 and completed in 1860.

Ø      Proceed to the existing Old House called the Dakays, a home that was built –in 1887. The Cogon on its roof changed every 30 years. Schedule to change 2007.

Ø      5:00 pm – Back to the lodge

Ø      Rest and dinner at the beach.(Ihaw-Ihaw)

 

 

Day 04                        Return to Manila

 

Ø      5:30am – Breakfast

Ø      6:30 am – Check out at the lodge and transfer to the Airport.
