  DAY 1
ARRIVE DELHI
  Assistance on arrival and transfer to your Hotel.

  DAY 2
IN DELHI
 

Tour Old Delhi which includes visits to the opulent Red fort- The erstwhile capital of Delhi and Rajghat -memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi. Also visit Jama Masjid the largest mosque in India. Drive on to New Delhi and visit Qutab Minar built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty and Humayun's Tomb- forerunner of Taj Mahal. See the imposing India Gate- a war memorial and drive past the Parliament house.


  DAY 3
TO MANDAWA
  Drive today to Rajasthan's open air art gallery, Mandawa. En route stop at Neemrana Fort Hotel for lunch. Mandawa is a city of Frescos and Havelis (Old Mansions). A city untouched over time for a true Indian life experience. Take a walking tour of town and mingle with local villagers who will invite you to their simple homes for a cup of strong Indian Tea. Dinner is in the hotel in a perfect setting with live entertainment. Savor the traditional Rajasthani dishes cooked in front of you over earthen fire.

  DAY 4
TO JAIPUR
 

Drive 3 hours this morning to the Pink City of Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, that owes its name, foundation and planning to Maharaja Jai Singh II. Later visit 99


  DAY 5
IN JAIPUR
 

In pink city see the City Palace Complex, part of which is a museum. Nearby is the ornate Hawa Mahal, a five storey structure covered with delicate screens carved from fine stone and Jantar Mantar the largest stone observatory in the world. Afternoon free to explore the bustling city and its bazaars on own.


  DAY 6
TO AGRA
 

An interesting drive to the Mughal City of Agra stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, an epic poem in red sandstone built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th Century. On arrival check-in at hotel.


  DAY 7
IN AGRA
 

Morning - Visit the imposing Agra Fort containing splendid palaces both in red sandstone and white marble built by two generations of prolific builders-Akbar and later by Jehangir and Shahjahan, on the banks of river Yamuna. Continue to The Taj Mahal, the greatest monument of love, built by Shah Jahan as a memorial to his wife Mumtaz. Afternoon - at leisure


  DAY 8
IN KHAJURAHO
 

Today, take a train to Jhansi and travel by surface to Khajuraho. En route stop for lunch at Orchha, situated near the Betwa River. Most of the attractions in Orchha are situated in the fort complex consisting of palaces, temples, cenotaphs, and memorials. Later drive 190kms to Khajuraho, the city of erotic temples for which there is probably no equivalent in the world.


  DAY 9
TO VARANASI
 

This city is renowned for its magnificent temples built by Chandela Kings between 10th and 11th centuries. Enjoy touring the eastern and Western group of temples where forthright sculptors celebrates the joy of life, these carvings were influenced by the Kama Sutra, the famous treatise on erotic arts. The engravings on these temples are highly sensual and erotic that depict in graceful forms intimate scenes of the whole range of human emotions and relationships.

Later Fly to Varanasi. Situated on the banks of sacred river Ganges, this holy city has been a center of pilgrimage and learning for over 2000 years and is considered to be one of the oldest surviving cities in the world. Later visit Sarnath, where Buddha first preached his message of enlightenment 25 centuries ago.


  DAY 10
IN VARANASI
 

Rise before dawn for a boat ride on the River Ganges, see devout Hindus performing their early morning rituals on the steps (Ghats) of the sacred river. Throngs of people decent the steps in solemn silence and immerse themselves in the holy stream as the sun rises. Watch the devotees from your boat and sail past the Bathing Ghats. Also visit Bharat mata temple, Durga temple, Vishvanath temple and Alamgir mosque. Afternoon free to walk around this holy city to feel its way of life.

TO KATHMANDU
 

Fly to the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal.

IN KATHMANDU
 

In the morning you will explore the capital city which is characterized by wooden pagodas, magnificent temples and Buddhist Stupas. See Darbar Square, the main attraction in downtown area, and the Swayambhunath Temple, considered 2,000 years old and one of the holiest places for Newari Buddhists. Afternoon - at leisure


  DAY 13
IN KATHMANDU
 

This morning you will drive outside the city to see the most important temple, Pashupatinath, situated on the banks of the River Baghmati & dedicated to Shiva. On return visit Boudnath, one of the largest stupas in the world and an important Buddhist pilgrimage. Later visit Bhadgaon to see the five storied Pagodas, the golden gate and the Palace of fifty five windows. The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own. Dinner would be at a typical Nepalese Cuisine restaurant.


  DAY 14
TO DELHI & LEAVE
 

Transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to international airport to board flight for your onward destination.
