Terms & Conditions:

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENT
A minimum of 5 nights is required by the boat for all stays.

The rates include:
  • All rates are in Unites States dollars.
  • Full board meal (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner; EXCLUDING beverages)
  • Returns Speed boat transfers between ale international airport and Banyan Velaa only if packages with overnight stay with Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, Banyan tree Madivaru, Angsana Ihuru or Angsana Velavaru.
  • Rates are valid for individual booking only. For group Bookings rates to be acquired.
Notes
The itineraries are subject to change, depending on the weather conditions and other factors deemed necessary for the Banyan Velaa to revise its itinerary accordingly.
Each reservations is subject of 3 nights stay.

Check in/ checkout time:
Check in 1400 and check out at 1100 hrs

Child policy:

Children under the age of 5 will not be permitted.

Cancellation policy:
  • Cancellation received within 45 days prior to the date of arrival will be subject to 50% of the confirmed room nights.
  • Cancellation received within 30 days prior to the date of arrival will be subject to 100% of the confirmed room nights.


Start your sail and board our Banyan Velaa in Male' Atoll. Your speedboat pick up will be arranged from the Airport / Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru or Angsana Ihuru. Sail for one, two or three nights around the stunning atolls of the Maldives on board. The yacht will anchor close to famous dive spots and the best places to snorkel, and guests can try their hand at traditional pole and line fishing in this anglers' paradise. Sun mattresses are available for stretching out on deck during the day, at night there's home theatre.

Chef will prepare buffet style meals along with daily canopes and drinks, picnic lunches and even romantic dinners to enjoy an some secluded sandbank.

 

 

SNORKELING

Discover the real gem of the Maldives through snorkeling. Put on your snorkeling mask & fins and start your Maldives afternoon suitably.

Banana Reef : The first dive site found in the Maldives where caves sitting around 2 meters deep can be seen from above.

Kudafaru Reef : Find and get a glimpse of the various types of corals – this area is known for finger & table corals set in a uniquely elongated reef.

Kudahithi Reef : A rare snorkeling area where soft corals are visible without the need to dive.

Kudabandos Reef : An island famous for day picnics because of its white sandy beach and amazing reef.

Laguna Reef : A distinct area housing a good number of Oriental Sweetlips (fishes of yellow colour with black diagonal lines from head to tail).

Rasfari Reef : An open channel popular for having manta rays on most times of the year.

SANDBANK DINING

Pamper yourself and enjoy one or two special treat of sandbank dining after a day of good sailing and swimming. Sandbanks are large deposit of sands that settles on a particular forming small island-like mounds in the middle of the Indian Ocean. A special spot for meals under both the sun, the stars or the moon.

EVENING STOPOVER

Cruise the sunset time away before settling in for the night in Sheltered Lagoons.

Himmafushi : Anchor near the lagoon of one of the biggest boat yards specializing in wooden boats.

Kudahithi : Spend the night inside the lagoon of this former resort island and wake up with the luxury of taking a good snorkeling round if you so wish to.

Banyan Tree Madivaru : Visit and be enthralled by our newest jewel in the Indian Ocean – the only island featuring the Tented Luxury in the Maldives with its 6 exclusive villas.

Guli : A local island known as the fishermen's village. An important source of fresh catch for most resorts in the Maldives.

Thulishdoo : Get a glimpse of the capital island of Male' Atoll where Coca Cola, one of the biggest bottling company is located.

Embudu Finolhu : Settle for the night on the edge of Male' Atoll and have the luxury to see the deep ocean area in your horizon.

OTHER POSSIBLE ACTIVITIES

Big Game Fishing : A form of recreational fishing targeting large fishes renowned for their sporting qualities, such as tuna and marlin.

Local Island Visit : Take a peek into the Maldivian style of living. (Please observe attire recommendations)

Diving : Chargeable and must be pre-booked before arrival. (Dive list and prices available upon request)
